The Joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10 Print E-mail
Thursday, 12 March 2009 13:20
Moses wanted God's people to be careful to talk with one another about the blessings of God in their homes, when they
awake in the morning, and when they go to sleep at the end of the day. We also can take this advise and seek God everyday and draw close as a family to the things of God. We don't need to be fanatic, we just need to be God's children.

When the twelve spies went over into Canaan only two came back with a good report. The rest brought back a bad report which negatively affected the whole camp of Israel. God was displeased with their complaining. Joshua and Caleb looked at the
opportunities (coupled with their faith in God). God had already taken such excellent care of His people through the years, why would the children of God doubt Him now?
There was no excuse to complain. It is easy to find fault with our lives but there is a price to that complaint.

Matthew 6: 19-21

This weeks lesson was from the story of Moses and how he needed to gather the treasures from
the children of Israel to build the temple in the wilderness so they could worship God.

Fall Tree"Let the peace of God rule in your hearts, ...and be ye thankful." Colossians 3:15
