The Church of God of Carmichael

Andy and Glenda Gallagher have been married for more than 20 years. They are currently raising four children of their own in addition to working with  children in Bible Story Time. For the past 18 years, Andy and Glenda have been active participants in several Bible Story Time efforts including the classes held at the church every Tuesday evening, hosting summer Bible Story Time classes at their home, and helping with the Bible Story Time efforts in the Russian community in Rancho Cordova as well as the efforts at the North Crest Apartments.

They have a done a variety of work such as teaching, song leading, and transporting children to and from the church on Tuesday evenings. Their children are active and eager helpers as well. God has truly burdened them with enabling children to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sister Glenda's Testimony:

I thank God that he saved me when I was 10 years old. I had actually gone through the form of giving my heart to Christ when I was 8 years old.  My Sunday school teacher had asked who wanted to be saved and I raised my hand because that is what the other children were doing.  We then prayed together as a class but my heart was not changed.  I must say that I tried to do better; to not sin as much as possible.  Every few months I would ask Jesus to forgive me of the sins I had committed.  Yet, I knew that I was not clear before God because I would continue to sin.  One day God convicted me and showed me that if I died in the condition I was in, I would not go to heaven.  I determined to quit pretending to be a Christian and truly become one.  I repented, confessing and forsaking my sins.  Praise God he gave me a new, clean heart and he has kept me free from sin for over 30 years!  What a mighty God we serve.
