To understand what true belief is, start asking yourself two simple, but very important questions. First: "Do you believe in God?" and also: "Do you believe God?" These questions are not asking the same thing. The first, "Do you believe in God?" is aimed at whether or not you believe God exists. Many readily answer that they do believe there is a God, but that is the extent of their belief. The second question, "Do you believe God?" is pointed at not only believing that He exists, but just as importantly, believing that what He says is true.

Here is the most common question of the day, and perhaps it is the one question that is uppermost in your own mind at this very moment. Maybe sickness had come into your life with its suffering, its expenses and its gnawing uncertainty. Or again, it could be that death has struck your family circle with its own peculiar sorrow. Perhaps it is an accident that has upset your most cherished plans, or family strife that has brought misery and unhappiness into your home. Possibly tragedy, debt or unemployment has shattered your fondest dreams. For some reason or other, you are despondent, worried, nervous and ill. You wonder if life is worth living, and ask yourself, repeatedly, "Why did God let this happen to me?"

No one can be saved unless he's born again by the power of God's Spirit. Christ says, Ye must be born again. (John 3:7 KJV)
There are many false ways today of becoming so called "born again", but nothing will take the place of the true new birth.

Jesus flatly stated, Except a man be born again he cannot see the Kingdom of God. ( John 3:3 KJV) It never ceases to amaze me how many people study, fill their head up with all kinds of Bible knowledge, claim to know all about the kingdom of God, but never have fully forsaken all their sins through the true Bible born again experience. No matter how much you know, it's impossible to understand what the kingdom really is without being truly born again.

by Harold Barber
"And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities."" Rev. 18:1-5
