TEXT:  1 CORINTHIANS 12,13, 18, 27

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.
13  For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

18  But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.

27  Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

How do I know that I’m in the right church?  This is a question many have asked, and perhaps even our self.  For any interested in the answer, God’s church is holy and on a strait and narrow path, while the broad way leads us away from Him. (Matthew 7:13,14).  Of that strait and narrow way,  it also says, “few there be that find it.”  If few, is this Church made available for all who want it?  It is.  This Church is of One body, Spirit, and Truth. There are not many paths and ways, but one (1 Corinthians 12:12,13).  This One way is founded on the cornerstone (Jesus), which is precious and without confusion. (I Peter 2:5,6).

God’s people are a chosen and holy nation, a peculiar people, not disobedient, but called out of darkness into His marvelous light (I Peter 2:8,9) .”  Christ’s unadulterated Word is His last will and testament for all to follow Him.  Each of us has only one life that we will one day need to take account of, of how we’ve chosen to live. God’s church is not founded on traditions, customs, and forms. His Church is also not an ecumenical one. Part of the definition of ecumenical is to be interreligious, which is to exist and/or communicate between different religions, whereas God’s church is set apart.  We must not assume all “good” and religious people are God’s Church.

How do I know who are God’s people? They won’t leave His path of truth and holiness.  People know where their heart has taken them.  If their heart has truly chosen God,  then they are called out and will separate themselves from this “world.” God’s people (or Church) is set apart, high as a light on a hill above the “market places” of manmade religion, and worldliness.  “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14

How do I become a member of God’s Church?  Only those choosing to be born again of the water and the Spirit of God can enter into His kingdom, which is His Church, (John 3:5).  It’s important that we be ready for Christ’s return for His Bride, The Church.  At that last day, no one (religious memberships included) will be a testimony for you. Only how you have chosen to live your final days.

Are you a part of God’s Bride, the true Church?
