TEXT: PROVERBS 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
We’re living in a time where people and religion are doing their own thing. But Christ is the standard God expects for our life. We need to follow Jesus, …to be like Him. Christ never changes, and we shouldn’t leave off from His example either. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou has rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thus hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. When people reject or walk away from God’s knowledge and ways, they affect others to do the same. One shouldn’t come to church to be seen, but only because you truly love God, and want to worship Him. Our appetite should only be for the Church of God’s message, which leads all who have been saved out of sin …to live a pure life. A pure appetite will desire nothing but a pure message, that will not defile or confuse you with falseness. A pure appetite won’t be encouraged by following mere religious personalities, but by the leadership of those who follow Christ only. On the other hand, there are many that have different styles in leadership, but praise God in heart the same way; for our different “styles” do not affect our spirit. The same Blood and Spirit affects us for the pure Word, and not for mere religion.
Clear Vision: “It is God, and not man who teaches us to love one another in spite of superficial differences. 1 Thessalonians 4:7-9″ The leadership taught by God, will not divide us from each other. The ways and instructions of God will instead heal from divisions. Loving one another is how we are known as Jesus’s disciples!
Clear Vision: When men truly repent of their sins, God will give them pastors of His heart. Jeremiah 3:11-15 (“And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.” Jeremiah 3:15). We must not accept any message that doesn’t teach that we are all equal, none being above another. The Church of God’s message will not merely teach to be in unity, but unity only through the message of living a life delivered from sin. A vision and message that will be burdened for others to also be delivered from sin. This message will give a “clear” vision, for living Christlike.
Is there anything in your heart that isn’t right? Be willing for God’s people to help in love. Be thankful to God for the victory. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” I Corinthians 15:57,28
How Clear Is Your Vision?
