The Rebuke of Blatant Sin and Hypocrisy, as it Stands in the Way of Souls Being Redeemed To Christ

With religious sinners (Pharisees), Jesus was very strict. He called them what they were, and also drove those seeking personal gain out of the temple.

In dealing with sin, one expressed ”I remember while working with my children, I sometimes had to correct them strongly. The devil would come to me after and accuse me of not treating them with love. But the kids now acknowledge that I did my best for them. We have to do the best we know to do at the time.”

Another testified that when visiting her unsaved relatives, she would share with them how God showed her not to partake of certain things. But she did not try to make them do the same. This causes less of an offense because it allows God the chance to convince them rather than us trying to force it on them. As they watch your life, they will see the blessings of God, because of our obedience.
