Jesus came to save, deliver, us from the power of sin. Only His blood can wash our sins away. A sinner is defiled and unfit for the Kingdom of God, and when Christ returns, all sinners will be cast into a lake of fire:

“But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” Rev. 21:8

A Saint- a Christian, is holy, pure, undefiled, free from every taint of sin, and their inheritance is eternal life with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit:

“Blessed be the God and Father of out Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not way, reserved in heaven for you.” 1Pet 1: 3-4

“But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord.” Rom 6: 22-23

Sinner and Saint are opposites. They oppose each other. They are as opposite as black of white, day or night, God or devil:

“He that commiteth sin is of the devil: for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin: for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifested, and the children of the devil…” 1 John 3: 8-10

Jesus came and gave His life to redeem us unto God; to change us from a sinner to a saint:

“therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Cor5:17

Only through repentance and the application of the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, by faith, is this possible; there is no other way to have your committed sins removed:

“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Heb 9:12

“repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.” Acts 3: 19
