Through the years of helping and working with people, I have found people deal with difficult situations in their past very differently. Numerous people have been through very difficult things and negatively affected by people and circumstances in their life. Some aren’t willing to work through those things.
Correction causes grief when we accept it. In grieving, the remembrance will come back to us from time to time, and we will feel bad that we ever had to be corrected. But we need to not beat ourselves down over for it again and again.
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Hebrews 12:11
