Our House Of Prayer

It’s important to have the Holy Spirit with us when we’re saved, then we need the Spirit in us to cleanse our temple. Romans 8:26-27 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which […]

If We Refuse Instruction

If we refuse instruction, it means we despise our own soul. From the beginning God has used man to teach the people. Proverbs 15:31-33 The ear that heareth the reproof of life abideth among the wise. What Is Sin?

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 1 John 3:4

What does the word transgression mean? It means violation; lawlessness; overstep or break a law; go over the limit. If you drive faster than the speed limit, you are transgressing the speed limit law. God has laws, and has set limits. In the Old Testament, the commandments were carved in stone; “Thou shalt” and “Thou shalt not…” In the New Testament, the commandments are written on the fleshly tables of our heart. It is a desire of the heart because we love God. It is the law of love. When we are saved and sanctified, we no longer have a desire to do the things that God is displeased with. "Go, And Sin No More"

Go and sin no more

And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. The Jews therefore said unto him that was cured, It is the sabbath day: it is not lawful for thee to carry thy bed. He answered them, He that made me whole, the same said unto me, Take up thy bed, and walk. Then asked they him, What man is that which said unto thee, Take up thy bed, and walk? And he that was healed wist not who it was: for Jesus had conveyed himself away, a multitude being in that place. Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee. The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. John 5:5-15
