Romans 12:1 Being perfect means being a willing sacrifice like Christ.
Am I available for the things of God?
Psalm 37:4 Sometimes we don’t even know what our own desires are. I can be influenced by what others are doing. God knows better than I what I truly want.
Isaiah 6:8 God is looking for those willing to show themselves strong. With sanctification, I am set apart for a particular use (for God). This is a reasonable service.
Do I have reasons (excuses) when God asks me to do something? Do I have skin in the game?
Do I think of myself as a victim? To have victory, one must be in a battle. Am I complaining about my battle? I’m supposed to go from victory to victory. God shows himself strong when someone fights through adversary.
Matthew 19:21,22 Jesus asked him to be a disciple, but he went away. What is my great possession? What is my treasure ?
Am I raising my hand to volunteer and be available for God?
Exodus 17:8,9,10,11,12,13 A raised hand means victory, even in a battle.
