It’s How You Finish
Everyone can start a race. There are ways I can help myself finish the race. What is weighing me down? How can I put it aside? Am I facing the right way? Am I running with patience?

Joash did what was right as long as Jehoiada was alive. Joash was later convinced by others to serve idols and murdered the son of his mentor. God allowed a very small army take over and Joash was killed. He started well, but didn’t finish well.
We need to attach ourselves to the right people.

We tend to act like the people we hang around. I should choose people I want to be like.

Joash needed a mentor when he became king at 7, but he didn’t stand up when Jehoiada died. He continued to be influenced by others. If I have been around awhile, I should be able to help someone else.
While fixing the temple, take the message out.
Do I have a window in my “temple" so others can see in? Is my temple in good repair? Does it show patience and kindness? What do others see inside my temple when I am under stress and pressure? Am I attacking or repelling others? Is my temple “fixed”?
