Rom 8:28, 31-39 We are more than conquerors. If God is for us, who can be against us? God didn’t spare His own son for our sake and delivered Him up to us that we may also dwell with Christ as sons and daughters in heaven. 1 Kings 18:22 There were 450 prophets of Baal who contested with Elijah on whose God would prevail. Yet Elijah did not falter, knowing he was not alone because God was with him so that no matter who was against him would not be enough. The result was that God prevailed and 450 prophets of Baal died that day. Mar 5:25-34 A certain woman had an issue of blood 12 years suffering physically, socially, and economically. An issue of blood meant that not only she was unclean but anything she touched was also unclean. But when she heard of Jesus coming she had faith that if she could but touch His clothes, she would be healed. As soon as she did so, Jesus knew and said unto her, “Daughter, thy faith hat made thee whole; go in peace and be whole of thy plague. More than a conqueror. 1 Sam 17:33-37 When you remember what God has done before, it will help bolster your faith for what is to come. Acts 16:25, Lk 22:41 It’s only through commitment i.e. prayer that strength comes. Trusting and obeying with thanksgiving makes you more than conquerors. Lk 23:33 One man being executed with Jesus freely admitted he was justly condemned rebuked the other who mocked Jesus, stating Jesus had done nothing amiss to deserve His punishment. Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. More than a conqueror even in death. Rom 8:31 We don’t face the kind of persecutions that those of the Old and New Testaments faced. The type of daily trials we face today are primarily mind battles. Yet, we receive the same grace as they received. Those that come against us have little or no compassion toward us of the things of God. This has happened to the saints over the centuries and we are still conquering. Like Paul, be persuaded that neither death of loved ones or own impending death, nor the government, civil laws, angels in sheep clothing, nor leaders, nor the things we face now, nor our doubts or fears, emotions, depression, loneliness, etc., will separate us from the love of God. If we all stay connected to God, we will be more than conquerors. Don’t let go. If the rope your hanging on to gets slippery, tie a knot in it. Staying connected is both you and all those in your sphere of influence. Think of being connected like the wheel on a bicycle and you are one of the spokes. If any lets go of God, their spoke is broken. It weakens all the others in the wheel and endangers their ability to continue to move on. It weakens your family, friends, other saints, even those you may not realize are watching how you live. Don’t let go of Him. We support each other. It may be rocky at times. It’s not always going to be roses and blue skies but we are more than conquerors by the grace of God.
