1 Peter 4:12,13,14,15,16,17,18 Being self-aware is more than coming to church (house of God). Judgement begins with the people of God.

Psalm 139:23

The justice of God leads to the judgements of God. Justice is righteousness imparted to humans through mercy. Judgement is a moment where justice leads to a conversation with God.

Judgement isn’t always a bad thing. Many will rejoice on Judgement Day. All this is necessary so that heaven is a holy place.

2 Timothy 2:3,4,5,6

If I’m hiding sin, there isn’t a testimony that allows me to tell anyone else how to live. Be reconciled to another before going out.

Revelation 11:1,2 God deals with His people first.

The judgement of God measures. It may not reveal guilt. It can be anything that causes me to understand I must move forward. It demands an action. If it is of God, it will always come with a solution.

John 8:6,7,8,9 There was conviction through Jesus's word and spirit. This was older than the law of Moses - the law of mercy.

Don’t confuse judgements of God with human reasoning! When the Word and Spirit are the source of conviction, it will feel different. Godly conviction is convincing and brings victory.

John 16:5,6,7,8,9,10,11 He will hold the world guilty.

Ephesians 5:11 Sometimes reproof doesn’t feel good; it is how people know what sin and holiness is. Jesus didn’t have a pleasant conversation with Nicodemus and he submitted to the reproof of Jesus.

My most effective encounter with others will involve conviction, coming from the Word and the Spirit, through me.

When God reveals guilt, He will reveal a solution. He doesn’t bring shame.
