The Trojan Horse Greece and the city of Troy were in a long war. The Greeks appeared to be sailing away but, in fact, had built a large wooden horse, filled it with soldiers, left it outside the gates of the city, and secretly doubled back. Once the gates were opened the Greeks were able to conquer the city with the “Trojan horse.”
Adam built a horse (his disobedience) and when God evicted them from the garden, the Trojan horse went out with them. Adam released a “virus” into humanity.
Genesis 6:5 The heart of man is inclined to do evil. Adam’s disobedience affected the human heart and released this into the world outside the garden. People yield to temptation because this is the natural inclination of all.
Romans 5:5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 Fleshly people do the works of the flesh instead of yielding to and walking after the spirit.
There is not guilt for sin until there is knowledge that it is sin. The law of the Gentiles is of the conscience.
From Adam, sin reigned even if the individual's sin was not the same as his.
Romans 6:13
Romans 6:19 God’s spirit doesn’t dwell in someone who is choosing to sin. A temptation may come, but one doesn’t have to yield to it. It is possible to yield to righteousness.
Chapter 7 describes a conflict between the mind and flesh. I must yield to the Spirit of God or my flesh will determine my walk and dominate.
Luke 11:11 If I want to serve God, He will help me escape a wretched life.
If God’s spirit dwells within me, my spirit is in harmony, even if my mind is struggling or conflicted.

Galatians 5:22,23 I will know if the Spirit dwells in me. The fruit of the Spirit will come from within; it’s not conditional on anyone else's actions.
Matthew 5:9 If I take someone else's peace I will recognize it and make peace as much as I am able. This is the natural condition of the spirit. It doesn’t require a law to demonstrate this.
Gentleness is similar to the word “grace.” It creates a supple heart. A gentle spirit will find a way not to take the peace of another.
Am I inviting the spirit of God to sit on the throne of my heart and dominate me? Am I just going through a form because I feel condemned?
Everyone’s brain works differently and all have differing gifts, but everyone can be dominated by the same spirit.
